このブログは、毎回、一寸した英会話の表現やボキャブラリーの説明をしていきます。すこしずつがんばりましょう。
沖縄は台湾に近いですよね。台湾、中国、香港に行かれたことはありますか。中国の人は思いのほか、英語を聞き取る力が高いようです。色々な音を聞き分ける力があるのでしょうか。
今日の表現
A: You told me you’re interested in blogging. Don’t you think it’s about the time to get the ball rolling?
B: Yes, I do. But I am at a loss what to write on even now?
A: It’s easy. Look at the blog titled “English Conversation at Random.” I think the author has nothing original to say, but he can keep on writing at his blogging. He writes a blog about what he has in his mind at that time. He’s an easy goer. In addition, he lets his pet write a blog titled “Hida Takayama Sketch.”
B: I see. I feel now I can write something at my blogging. But tell me your recommended blog suppliers.
A: TI-DA. It is an Okinawa dialect means the Sun.
B: Sounds good.
A： ブログに興味あるって言ってたじゃない。そろそろ始めるときじゃないの。
B： そうなの。でも、今も何について書けばいいのか判らなくて。
A： 簡単よ。「英会話アットランダム」というブログを見てごらんよ。管理人は何も独自なものを何も持っていない、でも書き続けているわ。そのときに思ったことを書いているだけなの。何も考えていないの。オマケに「飛騨高山スケッチ」というブログをペットに書かせているの。
B： そうね。私も何か書けそうな気になってきた。でも、どのブログがお薦め。
A： ちぃーだよ。沖縄の言葉で「太陽」という意味。
B： 良さそうね。
Get the ball rolling
「何か行動をはじめる」という意味ですが、「座を持たせる」という意味もあります。

今日のボキャブラリー
Buzzword
「専門用語、決まり文句、流行言葉」です。専門用語では、
jargon
という表現もあります。
Mind you, “Mei Wei Ti” means no problem, but this word is a buzzword of Chinese people, do not take it too much seriously.
（いいかい、「没問題」というのは「問題がない」ということだけど、これは中国の人の口癖なんだ、だからあまり真剣に受け止めてはいけないよ）
中国の人と一緒にいると、この言葉の出る頻度の高いこと。特にビジネスでは、問題がないことはなく、実際には大変なんだけど、面子もあってこういう言葉が出ます。慣れてくると、どの程度、本当なのか、何となくわかってきます。
